Our diverse team includes licensed clinicians, care coordinators, operations experts, and support staff who bring a wealth of experience, cultural awareness, and specialized training to their roles. Michael Veal, MBA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As Executive Director with 35 years of experience in leadership, Michael Veal leads with a vision rooted in compassion, innovation, and community impact. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership and mental health advocacy, he oversees the agency’s strategic direction, partnerships, and overall operations. Michael is deeply committed to expanding access to quality mental health care and fostering an organizational culture that prioritizes client-centered support and systemic change.
He began his career in Military Healthcare, where he led a large team and managed a multi-million-dollar annual budget. He is also a Certified Trainer in Adoption. His passion lies in Behavioral Health, where he finds each aspect of the field deeply meaningful and rewarding.
Tracy Ramos, LMHC
CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Tracy has over 30 years as a mental health counselor. He has worked in several mental health programs throughout Florida and has extensive training in therapy modalities that include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Modular Approach to Therapy with Children. He is a Certified Adoption Competency Trainer through Rutgers University Adoption Competency Therapy Curriculum.
As Clinical Director, Tracy provides expert oversight of our therapeutic programs, ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and clinical supervision, he guides the development of effective treatment strategies and supports the professional growth of our clinical team. Tracy’s clinical insight and dedication to quality care play a key role in shaping our agency’s vision and impact.
Melanthony Ramos

As a dedicated Care Coordinator, Mel brings a wealth of experience in connecting individuals and families with the mental health services they need to thrive. With a strong background in resource navigation, Mel is an advocate to ensure clients receive compassionate, coordinated care across all stages of treatment.
Alexandra Martinez
BOARD MEMBER
As a Director of Operations, Alexandra brings strategic leadership and a systems-focused approach to the board. With experience in organizational management, and program development, she ensures that the agency runs efficiently and effectively in delivering quality mental health services. Alexandra has experience in overseeing internal processes, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to align day-to-day operations with short and long-term goals. Her commitment to operational excellence, staff support, and data-driven decision-making helps drive our mission forward and ensures the sustainability of client-centered, outcome-focused care.
Tona Bonilla, LMHC
BOARD MEMBER
As a Licensed Counselor in the state of Florida, Tona brings clinical expertise and a compassionate perspective to the board. With a strong background in therapeutic practice, she is dedicated to supporting mental health initiatives that promote healing, resilience, and access to quality care. Tona’s insight into the client experience and commitment to ethical, evidence-based treatment help guide our agency’s mission and service delivery.
Tona earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from East Tennessee State University and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling. Tona has over a decade of experience in therapy and behavioral health management.
Paul Zukas, LCSW
Evidenced Based Therapy Supervisor
MATCH Therapy Trainer
As a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the state of Florida, Paul is instrumental in overseeing our Evidenced Based Therapy Modalities. His experience, education and expertise in the field of mental health has made him an instrumental supervisor in the organization.
Paul earned his Masters of Social Work at the University of Central Florida. After his degree was obtained, Paul has worked extensively in mental health providing training and leadership of evidenced based therapy modalities.
Kristin Petrilla, B.S.
Care Coordinator
As a Care Coordinator for Hope Center, Kristin is the liaison between our provider, community partners and the organization. Kristin has an extensive background in overall care coordination and leadership positions. Her overall experience has contributed to her expertise in the healthcare industry.
Kristin earned her Bachelors of Science from Florida State University and afterwards has devoted her career to helping others and working within several roles within the healthcare system.
